yep when i first work at the boat yard i was thinking like a hot rod guy there so much that i could do to make them run better then every day working on them 454 engines from merc thinking boy for what they are they really run great and the smart thing would be to leave it alone .if you must have a new intake stick to a dual plane something good off idle eldbrock did make a small port at one time
