I agree. On my 700R4 I thought I'd heard/felt the two distinct "clunks" but decided to spin it one more time and got an even bigger "CLUNK" as it engaged the pump. Mating it to the engine there was less than 1/2" of freeplay between the converter bolt tabs and the flex plate. Can't hurt to spin it around again.
