Smashed glass out of like a side window on a car works great!!! Dump the shards in the tank, get a buddy to help you shake the tank around and it will loosen up all the crud and rust in the tank. I'd suggest a good tank rinse and sealer afterwards!!! Lots of companies make a good tank sealer, keeps all the old crud intact and when done according to the directions it lasts forever!
