You can also wire it to a electric fuel pump as well if you have one.
But either way will work. I've do sevral ways my self before.
Including a seperate switch for the brake lights.
That way if some one does get it and they don't know the brake lights are not working it will draw police attention to pull it over and check things out. I have done that with many of my car trailers as well in the past. I would put the switch some where on the trailer it's self. [Hidden]
