OT, but reminds me of when I was a service manager at a Chrysler dealership back in the early 60's. Highway Patrol ran 1960 Plymouths (Hemis) and when putting a new one in service, they would bring it in and we would do just that. That way, if the met you on the highway and suspected speeding they would flip the switch so you couldn't look in your mirror and see them doing a quick stop so they could do a u - turn and clock you.
