I have less than 5" either side for fuel tanks down the side. But I have concidered two tanks. One inside the rails at the rear that will hang down a couple inches below the bed box, attatched with a hose (sounds unsafe?) to a tank filling the void below the bed infront of the forward link brackets. Now I'm wishing I hadnt aimed the driveshaft loop up. At the time all I was thinking about was using up the void under the bed.

I may call NSRA tomorrow and find out theyre stipulation regarding fuel hoses. I really wanted to get this truck to pass NSRA saftey inspection.
