Here's the 40 P.U. I've been tinkering with for 10 years. really slow progress. Sits on a S10 chassis with a 350/350 combo.

I've since cut the rot out of the hood and liked it that way.

And the 39 P.U. that has very little done yet. It's on a old datsun truck chassis cause I liked the torsion bar suspension, with a 53 Merc flatty. The front fenders were dented beyond repair so I removed them and like the fenderless look now. Plan to use moon hub caps to hide the 6 lug wheels.

there were a lot of RAt Rods at the SAn francisco cow pallace car show last weekend. they are only allowed in the old animal stall area, not on the main floor . some looked good, some like rolling junk, to each his own today too many cars are 1 800 credit card order parts cars, not enough new ideas, what will work for engine chassis desigh etc

    Talking Love them Rats

The last time I mentioned that I was building a Rat rod style F100 I got my butt chewed off......I was given a backyard education on the definition that a Rat Rod is nothing more that a unsafe and dangerous ride that hazardous to everyone around it.........Well, I got over it and sold that truck to Anders in Sweden and started another Rat Rod Hot Rod. Yes it's safe....proper welds, disk brakes, IRS ect.

Well, Here's my Rat Rod, Traditional Rod, call it what you will. I call it FUN. SBF, 4 speed, 4 wheel disc brakes, 4 inch chop, 4 inch drop axle, coilovers, etc. It's my first Rod and I just built it this Spring and started driving it in August. What do you think???

just replace the "rat" with "hot" and im sure you will be ok in your discription
some folks just find the analogy offensive me i can take it or leave either way..

I like the truck but I think you need a pixsizer program so you don't blow the whole thread off the page.

here is one for you....a skull on wheels

I call him "T-Bone". I built this car last winter in my garage from a 1923 Ford (glass body) T- shell. It has a 300 h.p. sbc with a 350 turbo trans.
