Welcome to the site. Nice to see you here.
I could be wrong (usually am..) but I think a 65 F-100 front suspension would be the twin I-Beam suspension. But yours could be a van maybe

If you want to post pics, you won't be able to link to another site for a "few" posts. It's a Bot / Spammer prevention tactic. Once the mods get to know you a bit, they'll lift that restriction.

If you have trouble posting you can always flip'em to me and I can put'em up for you.

You're right, Mike, 1965 was the first year for twin-i-beam suspension for the Ford F100. The straight axle could be from 1964 or older if it's from the F100.

If you're building the '33 with fenders, the F100 axle might be a little wide. With brakes it will be at least 60" between the wheel mounting surfaces.

Looking forward to seeing pics! Welcome to CHR!

Welcome to Club Hot Rod! This sounds interesting. I take it you are, or were, involved in sprint car racing?

Welcome to the board. I'm interested in this project as well. Sounds like like a great build and I will be subscribing. Best of luck.

16 GA is right stout. I used it once for the floor of a 68 falcon. A little overkill in retrospect. Easy to weld though. I'm thinking 18 is good enough for my upcoming project though.
