Rat29, looks like you've got some nice material to work with there. Keep us posted.

I trailered Densham a couple of years ago for outdated blower restraint belts. But, yeah, he is a nice guy.

Rat 29, I would have no problem puttin' it on the road just like it is on the outside, just with updated mechanicals. I wouldn't prime it, paint it, nothing. Just drive it like it is. Of course, I wouldn't hang a fuel tank on the front though

It' been my experience, as I'm sure it has been tech's, that most of the guys in drag racing a pretty decent and easy to talk to. There are exceptions and years ago I flagged a couple of them.

It's a caddy flatty.....really a pretty cool ride. Very nicely (safely) built. Just has that worn out look

unfortunatley the road agents "rockabilly rumble" has been cancelled this year. just heard about it a couple weeks ago. was a great show.

to get back on topic, here's a pic of my car from back around 1996(when I was 16) hasn't been TOOOO much progress on it lately but I'm starting to work on it again tonight. from 16-25 I just had too much stuff going on to work on it. I'll let you guys guess what it is. Good luck, you'll need it.
