The catalyst / Hardner is what gives a Single Stage & clear coats its durability , it can be sprayed with out it , but the longevity is greatly reduced !

Plus repairability is often compromised too .

I would bet that Candy Apple Red is the 1970's - 1980's Ford solid red , like what was used on Old Fire Trucks also

Who is painting this jyardgirl ? You or some one that know's how to spray color ? If your going to try to do it and its your first try , go with some thing thats not expensive , as if you mess it up you didnt waste several hundreds of dollars to give it whirl .

If you have some one thats qualified and can give you a quality job , I would save your money and get the best you can afford !
