Since moving to the north woods, I have none of the fancy tools I had in Phoenix. I sold all of them before I left. So, when I got here, I bought a '91 Ford beater p.u. for $1,000 that runs real good but just doesn't look that cool. I went down to the hardware store and had the lady order me 3 quarts of Rustoleum dark hunter green and painted the truck with a brush. It's the first time in my life I've painted a vehicle with a brush, but you know what, I've had some compliments on it. Who cares?
my uncle had a beater 1966 Ford Falcon Van that he put parts in from an early Ranchero he had, painted it ugly brown with a roller and drove it for a year or so, then sold it for double what he had in it, this was in the 70's.
