Well I do not know to much about paint, but basically I have been working on an 1st generation s10 v8 project for the last 2 years that is finally almost ready to be fired up for the first time. The cab and bed on this truck are solid, but the doors and fenders have actually rotted out from sitting in a storage shed over the winter. I would like to get something on the truck to prevent the cab and bed from rusting until I have a place to take the time to paint it the way I want to. It's so hard to find a first generation s10 around here with a solid cab and bed and I want it to stay that way.

I used rustoleum rusty metal primer and applied it with a brush, but I will be sanding 99 percent of it off,I just used this as a protector being that my project is out in the drive way with no shelter.Good thing it only rains a few minutes a year here!!!
Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)
