Thanks for asking Don. Front fenders and hood are in the shed, she's jacked up on concrete blocks in the front so I could get to the trans and transfer case. Pulled them out and have them sitting on the floor in the garage. There was a guy who was gonna buy them from me, but he wanted to cheap out and offer me $100 for the pair.....I told him to go pound sand. Both of them work perfectly. I took the lid off the trans and the synchros look like new. $100....phooey!! I wished him luck in his quest for a box and case.

Went and looked at a '80 Chevy 4x4 350 4-speed 3/4 ton truck last week. All the mechanicals work, but the body is rusted beyond repair. Just what I need!!! I'm thinkin' jack the Jeep (actually a Willys Overland) body up on the Chevy frame about 10 inches and shorten the wheelbase to match the Willys. The guy wants $500 for the truck and it runs, although it smokes on startup. Gosh, I wonder where I could find someone who knows about 350 motors to rebuild it for me?????
