Dave that shroud looks pretty darn nice. I might have to send you a cardboard template for a custom job for my truck once the engine goes in, if you take mail order commission work!
Once they are done, how do you attach to radiator, without potentialy putting a hole in the radiator?(hope this doesn't sound too stupid!)

This one will be easy, Steve. There's a bracket on the radiator support on each corner of the radiator, so just a simple bracket welded to each corner of the shroud, then bolt the shroud to the brackets on the radiator support. Usually I like to have two pins on the bottom of the shroud that set in a bracket, then 2 bolts in the top to brackets off the radiator support. Each is different!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Hell, just zap screw it in the tank.
Seriously though, I might pattern my shroud after that. I was thinking of making wire frame and fiberglass..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Mike was just up with more parts for the '60 Buick, carpet for the trunk, chrome dummy spots, and a metalflake blue steering wheel!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

a proportioning valve is just as important with disc / disc as with disc / drum . especially in a panic stop .

You are correct. Some articles say you don't need one but after further research I see most say they are neccesary.

most combo valves sold seem to be generic gm. in a panic or hard braking they should hold off the front brakes so the rear can come in before weight transfer . helps to stop the nose dive. i use s10 brake systems any time i can .

Got the fan shroud put together and mounts made for Mike's Buick. Put some epoxy primer on it, should be able to touch up a couple pin holes and put some paint on it tomorrow.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Nice looking shroud, Dave, that's something I've got to do next year to the Jimmy so I'll be hollering for some tips and etc.
All I've gotten accomplished lately is mounting a couple of seat belts..

Finishing up Mike's Buick, don't think it can be a '60 Buick without a metalflake steering wheel!!! Got to get some of the matching paint for the adapter, just some epoxy primer on it for now!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
