Pro, that thing looks terrifyingly fast! Great looking craftsmanship and design. Dave, great work as always. Wish I could afford that Camaro; I still love that body style .
I spent the day working; I'm getting really anxious to drive this! At least I can start it and sit behind the wheel now. In the past week i got the generic dynamat put down, the mounting brackets for the seat made and installed, headlights and dimmer wired, alternator wired, exhaust put on, a 95 T-Bird electric fan installed, bed sides welded on and a front panel for the bed made and installed. Also fitted a Stewart Warner sending unit in the fuel tank and finished the battery box. Closer and closer to cruise time; I know my wife is ready for me to stop being in the garage all day every Saturday. She's been pretty understanding about me wanting to finish this for spring cruizin'.

The "Maro" is looking pretty sweet Dave, I like the front end, looks sleek as hell. Whats the grill going to look like?Truck is lookiing fantastic falcon, I really like the bright red and black, very cool. Let me know when you and Dave are goin' cruisin, I'll check in.
I got everything hooked up in the El Camino today except the drive line, even with beating on it with a sledge hammer it wouldn't go in.* I took it off of that truck and put another 350th in it, shouldn't the splines be the same?

This morning the tranny came out of the green duster to go to the shop. it was spitting oil out of the front seal or somewhere in there. Other than that the car is good.

Dave you are so right gives ya a little momentem for more. Today i crawled under the Fastback and it seems i'll have to put a bottom side on it . Even though it sat in a garage for years the michigan salt was still hungry . But that car will not be torn down till the rod is running . If you lived closer i'd keep ya working in your slow times LOL.

It takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!

I had a heck of a time getting the yoke on the El Camino but it didn't want to go and then the Monsoon set in, we got 11.5" here in a day and a half. Whats the best way to clean a little rust out of a yoke? I was thinking a bunch of pbs and a file. Any sugestions?

Thanks Denny, a pointed wire brush would be nice, good idea. I will see if I can locate one around town tomorrow, other than the drive line the El Camino is looking really good.
