I understand about that "Too old to bend over" stuff Dave!! But I too learned something, sometimes you just have to just stand back and look at things to find a simple way to make things easy.
That is a sweet looking T body, that is going to make a great rod. Keep the pics coming. Is that a sbf sitting on that chassis?"Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

That body wasn't very "SWEET LOOKING" Dave has all ready done a lot of hammering on it. First three pictures show how it looked when I first got it.

Here's a couple more....I got one side of the suspension back together, steering column mounted, and shift linkage back together. Movin right along....Hey, that Buick V6 looks pretty good! That'll make a cool little rod with todays gas prices.

Thanks, guys. I think the engine's going to stay a stocker other than a 12 volt conversion and a $19.99 glass pack. I've thought about seeing if I can find someone to cut me a set of header flanges and building a header; we'll see. I hope the spring mount works out. I was able to put the springs in without a compressor; I'm hoping that's not a bad sign.

I love my kid but sometimes I want to thump his head; I had a 48 dodge valance panel for sale on Ebay. He came over yesterday while I was at work because he needed a piece of sheet metal for something on his truck. Guess what he cut it out of? No more valance panel.

Dang!!! Sounds like your son is going to learn how to patch valence panels, among other tasks you probably have line up for him!!!!!
Got some work done today, a bit on the coupe, and got the engine and trans out of the Camaro. Got to do a bunch of clutter eliminating under the hood, install the rack and pinion, and start putting the new rear suspension together....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Finally got the brass bushing & stainless steel pins pressed in the hinges and am just about ready to install the doors. Seems like I've been working on the hinges forever. Guess thats what happens when I only have a few hours a month to work on the car. That should change during the winter months .... I hope."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

Luckily it wasn't worth more than fifty bux at the most, so i decided to let him continue breathing. Just a well orchestrated guilt trip was plenty. I gave my old man his fair share of grief in my teenage years, too. Hey Pro, those hinges are incredible looking!
