Glad to hear it was all worth the trip. That version of the MT covers are pretty desireable. Sparkplugs with headers are always a challange. Another trick is use a piece of fuel line hose. You stick the plug in the end and use the hose as a flexline sorta deal. Worth a try anyway. That and a good universal socket like Denny mentioned. I've had mine close to 30 years.

Duane the manifold is with it and geez they are heavy . These wide bodys need bigger arms then i have . It should run now with some fresh fuel , Well lets say it was running good last time it was shut off . I will get a batt and freshen oil up to top and give it whirl tommorrow if there is no storms LOL had enough of them .
FFR what is the meaning of HP427 ?? Talked with a guy said spinning them at 5K to 5500K is about the safest you can do . I like the look of the chrome from stock ones still on the fulcrum on what will look good . if there on this they have to be from way back when i had thicker hair .

That's why I've usually went with alunimum intakes. Saves a lot of wieght as someone mentioned in your other thread.

FFR air cleaner is in the trunk complete and in excellent shape , I know I"ve seen these things going big bucks ebay . So it looks like wall decorations with it and the VC's if i change them .
Duane if there as high as the air cleaner I"ll use a engine hoist LOL .

Dave thanks pics are allways in mind . Resale i think will not be in near future . Matter of fact i mentioned selling the coupe for funds and wifey talked me out of it .

Well after some wire cleaning and a half a gallon of gas down the carb she hit it off . Runs good well for as long as it sat tach works im stoked LOL. Engine is tight lifter didnt even tick very long they pumped up really fast supriseing .
