Randy here is some more support for you to start the tinkering again on the 37 . I have someone doing all the set up and sheet metal I will finish it . He has began with the TCI rear parallel leafs and the MII front end . he will also set the engine and trans in and build the fire wall . If it wasn't for him it would still be tarped up .Last edited by bluestang67; 11-25-2010 at 09:48 PM.

Oh this is a 255-75-15 on a rim with a 3 3/4 Off set , I have a set that is 4 1/2 Off set which I think will bring the big tires in and end up with no fender edge rub . If not I will have to get to the drawing board . Also don't know yet how they will fill the well and settling on the springs ???? Help right now I think he said they set about 3 or 2 3/4 inches from where the body will be back on frame . Once I put the disc's on this rear ( 59 1/4 mount to mount ) will add about 1/2 inch per side .Last edited by bluestang67; 11-25-2010 at 10:15 PM.

Bobby I ran a tape from the frame rail out to the front edge of the tire, I`m at 12.5 inches, and I know we have differant offsets, and rear axle width, just trying to give you an idea.Toys

It's looking good, Bobby!!! I'm jealous!
What's the width of your rear end? width of the rims? Mine has a 58 Ford rear which is 57.25 between the wheel mounting surfaces. I currently have 17x8 rims, 3.75" back spacing with 255/55/17 tires. I could still space them out at least 3/4 inch and still not rub the fenders. Not sure that I'll keep those wheels but may that'll help some.
Rich, your car looks so sweet in that pic!!! Love it!"It is not much good thinking of a thing unless you think it out." - H.G. Wells

You asking for hip size LMAO JUST KIDDING , the rear end is 59 1/4 wm to wm .
Here are some close shots of pedal assys . Sorry I got these by phone and can't re size them I tried it and lost 2 LOL had to have him resend them to me.
Randy your pedal assembly is a lot better comparing the 2 now . They cut a big chunk away to fit these in , Maybe I can use them and start over and make a set like you have weld new bungs on and all . Like the spacing yours have as compared to these .Last edited by bluestang67; 11-28-2010 at 07:23 PM.

Do with me? WHAT??? I just couldn't resist! As far as welding, now I know what "they" say when anyone tells me it ain't as easy as everyone thinks! I think the metal work is far easier than the "plastic"....
I'm finding myself doing the same area 3 and 4 times trying to get it "just right"...

Rich I was wondering if you are running the original column ? Looking for some ideas for the connection at the firewall and If I need to shorten the 37 column any . If I have to shorten it I think I will bring it all under the dash like a front wheel drive , this way I can exit just about anywhere I need with the universal under dash also .
Well here is the latest update pic from builder almost on 4 wheels , he thinks my rollers are in a stack buried outside in the snow .
Sorry about size again off his cell phone and they won't let me edit .Last edited by bluestang67; 12-05-2010 at 07:30 AM.

If I had that rear end I could use the smoothies with the 3.75 back spacing . would be perfect fit . I think the rims are 7 or 8 inch I forgot it's been a while . the tire at its widest point is 11 inches . Yeah he said body should be back on this week so I told him to hold off and try them for shits and giggles .Last edited by bluestang67; 11-28-2010 at 07:12 PM.
