I think all the ethanol stuff sucks when you have carbs etc. (I'm talking about something stock original that isn't allowed to be modified from OEM) At work we have less and less gas stuff but at the airport they also have a much higher alcohol content in the gas than what they claim. UPS and us have had several carb failures from all the alcohol in the gas.
The whole growing corn for ethanol has turned the farming industry upside down. The yields they get from all these hybrids is pretty crazy. 240-300 bushels per acre during a drought is crazy. Aside from that, this enhanced corn has not so good side effects that none of the political people care to talk about.
