Beings it was snowing today, I taught my youngest how to change oil for the 1st time on his Trailblazer. He got the oil dropped but dad spent better than 20 minutes trying to get the miserable oil filter off. I can't remember one ever being on that tight before. After that I was going to walk him through changing the thermostat on it because the check engine light comes on because it never breaks 170 deg. I started looking at it and wondering how I was going to do myself it cause it looked like a PITA, so I had him do some other things around the shop while I tackled it. An hour later I got the top pipe off just to find out that the Trailblazer thermostat is located on the bottom radiator hose for some reason. The good new is that it was worse to get at than the top one was, but after pulling half of his engine compartment apart I finally got it in. This would have been a bit much for a kid who has no interest whatsoever in wrenches. After I got that finished I decided to run my wife's car in the shed and change oil on it, but it turns out I miss judged the snow drift in front of my shed I got it pulled out and changed after that though.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing. C.S.Lewis
