Mum and I were watching the international news last night on tele. and we both wondered if those poor guys out on tractors fitted with snow blowing devices receive an above average wage to be out clearing the snow in shocking conditions. Heck some of the tractors didn't even have enclosed cabs to keep the driver dry and warm. What amazed us was the fact that they were clearing the footpaths yet people were told to stay home until the worse was over.
