Friend of mine is a World of Outlaws crew chief....We were talking when he was in town awhile back, sez the battle for sponsorship off the track is even more intense then the battle for wins on the track!!!!

Uncle Bob makes some very astute observations here! I look to see a lot of changes during the off season in all forms of racing. Money is very tight, probably a lot of teams won't be back next season!!! With the cost of parts, cars, travel, and crew expenses getting higher and traditional sponsorship waning, the innovative teams will be the one's finding the new $$$$$ to race with.
