We're heading to the Salida area first, got an old HS friend that lives there, and will do some of the high trails & passes that are not too hairy. Traveling alone I don't get into the extreme stuff, but we're equipped to be OK on most of the sane trails. Then we'll head NW to the Leadville/Vail/Fairplay area, loop back along the south of I70 around Breckenridge/Montezuma, then drop down towards Colorado Springs and head home. We'll be doing the easy to moderate trails each day, then moving on towards new areas. All that could change as we get out there and start playing....
