Craigslist can be a good tool, you just have to use common sense and patience.
I was trying to sell a truck toolbox on CL a few months ago.. never did CL b4 at that time and when a guy asked for my number I gave it to him.. he did call and sounded interested. but for the same day, I got an extra charge from USBI on my phone bill for like $80.. called them on it and it was an 'undisclosed charge'.. I told them it wasn't mine and after 4 months it was gone from the bill... the guy never did come to look at it

I do give out my phone number, but not until I exchange a few emails and sense there legit
