I put my sister’s 2009 Dodge Ram Crew cab on Craigslist and all I got was scammers they wanted to send a check and me give the shipper the difference. I cut the ad after the first day.

Firm means nothing. I dropped my sisters New Truck with 219 miles on it from $28,000
To $25,500 firm. She offered it to her classmate from 40 years ago for $24,000 so her son could get it. I was working on a plan where he could pay a portion down and the remainder within a reasonable amount of time and her having $500 good faith money that she would keep if he could complete the deal. I gave the guy my word, everyone was happy then my sister sold it to a neighbor for $22,500 I came unglued. Not only did she loose the $1,500 but also for the first time since I can remember I was told, “I went back on my word.”

My sister said she tried to call me I stepped out for 10 minutes; she said she didn’t know what to do. After trying to help her since her Husband died for the past two Months of doing everything I could possibly do. This was yesterday, she told me Friday the guy was interested and would let her know by Saturday afternoon, he waved a check for $22,500 in front of her and she took it instead of waiting for me to call her back.
