Sorry to hear you got laid off, but glad to hear you have a plan and will be fine. I too will chime in that when I was poorist, I had such an easy life and few worries. Now that we are doing well financially, I take things way to seriously. I remember buying a 72 honda 750 for 400 bucks, and driving to Montana to work in Glacier Park for the summer! What a blast, 50 bucks to my name, open highway to a beautiful place. Never worried about the next day! Spent my first thirty two years that way, then I went back to school and got a degree. Haven't been nearly as happy since!"

I got laid off once and it was the best thing that has ever happened to me as far as my career is concerned. It changed my career direction and I havent looked back ever since.Go Hokies!!!!!! ACC CHAMPS '04,'07,'08
