    anybody need a Camaro???

Well, Jackie changed her mind about the 'maro....yes, I know, that IS a woman's right!!!!! She really wants a Charger, and I found one that she wants instead of the '82 Camaro I was building for her!

So, anyone interested in a customized '82 Camaro with a triangulated 4 bar going in it, rack and pinion steering, and a whole bunch of custom sheet metal work...(pics in my gallery)

What I have to decide is to sell it as is, make it a roller and sell it, or put an engine and trans in, paint it and finish it..... I do have a 454 chebbie laying around that needs to be freshened......

Just curious to see what you guys think might work out best.....

Sometimes I wish I had a wife who thought like you, and bought me a Charger. One of my all time favorite cars. Lookin foward to your build!

Don't know about that, guess it's cuz we've been through so dang much the last 20 years we just realized when everything goes to ____, we can still count on each other.....

Price would depend on how far it was done....for now, just trying to figure out what the heck to do with it;...... lots of goodies, but all the custom stuff seems to turn off the younger guys.... But some really neat stuff on the suspension, rack and pinion instead of a steering box, coilovers, triangulated 4 bar, 4 wheel disc brakes..... I've got a T-10 I could put in it... Just trying to figure out what way to go with it more so then trying to sell anything right now.

It looks pretty good so far Dave. I'd like to see what the finished product looks like personally.
Who knows, once you get it finished, she might change her mind and want to keep it.

Well, it will be awhile till it's ready to sell.... Maybe you could break it to her gently over a period of time.... Then she might not thunk on yer head with anything too big!!!!!!

it pains me to say it because i really want to see the end result, but i would say sell it now and not finish it. if you finish you will probably take a bigger hit and a bigger risk finding someone that loves it enough to pay. if you sell now someone will have a good start to a unique custom 3rd gen and they can tweek it how they want.

personally it wouldn't have taken me so long to decide on a charger over a 3rd gen camaro

Well, finding a buyer for it now would be very tough....unless it were someone who wanted to hire me to finish the work...now wouldn't that be a sweet deal????? Too much time in it already, would be tough to find someone who wanted to pay what I think it's worth....

As for taking a hit, I won't do that. I'm one of those guys who sets a price and sticks to it.... If nobody wants to pay my price, then I just keep it and have fun!!!!!
