Egads!!!!! and I thought I was a slow learner!!!! Some of us just don't do married life real well, took me 3 misadventures to realize that!!!! I figure the only 2 things that will spoil a friendship between a man and a woman is sex and marriage!!!!!!

OK, this is my thread then. BTW, I like hijacking, leads to some interesting discussions. I didn't mean to upset anyone again by hijacking there's so I'll limit my ramblings to here....

Anyway..... Wondered if anybody had any ideas for paint, tires and wheels for the 'maro..... I already have a gallon of purple metallic (DuPont) I scored cheap off eBay and was planning on using it over a black base......

as for the wheels, don't even bother mentioning the rubber band looking things!!!! The car is going to be up for sale when done, just curious what you guys thought might be a "neutral" look for the car... oh yeah, grey interior so resale red is probably out already....bummer.

The purple one is really good looking! Maybe I should stick with the paint I already have??????

I've got a gorgeous set of old slotted aluminum wheels, 15" X 10" and 14" X 6", I don't suppose an '82 is old enough for retro looking wheels though, huh????

surprisingly, if the car would of been mine when it was time to tubb it id of passed, that car is the most big pain in the a** to find a slick for you could ever think off. max size is 29 tall now thinka bout that the rearend is 33 inches back plate to back plate. with max backspacing you cannot find a tire to fill it up cept m/t sportsmans so a slick would be skinny and look absuhlootlee but goofy ! id od mini tubbed it for a 10.5 and thats it. we got away with an 8 inch slick and 11.70's for crying out loud !
