it just has not been a champion day today folks .. for several days i`ve been hearing water spraying under my home but it`s just been too cold to do anything about it .. well this morning i finally get under there and find a split pipe gushing away .. in cutting it off for repair i cut into an adjoining pipe so now i have two to fix .. well mobile home plumbing in the year my was made is all plastic weld crap .. luckily someone invented a quick connect gadjet that simply did miracles .. so i come inside and my gas heater does`nt want to stay lit and my electric heat runs full blast full time .. finally blow air all over it and get it to stay lit .. also have a kerosene heater going .. just went to the store to get more kerosene and was run off the road by someone not watching where they were going .. luckily the ditch was flat .. just did a dukes of hazzard detour and found the road safely again ..the day is`nt even half over .. too early to hit the sudweisers .. actually `im too scared to hit them . what else could go wrong and i be too buzzed to react .. i may just go back and hide under the bed sheets till monday morningiv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

Hoss sounds like work last night. I was getting ready to go home(work in neonatal intensive care unit) when the emergency buzzer goes off. My coworker goes to the delivery and calls me saying get the table ready. Well we have two tables for really sick kids, both in use at the time of the call, the backup table is brand new. I turn it on and it gives a circuit failure message, I'm panicking trying to get ready for this kid, grab an old dinasaur of a table from storage, (works like a charm!) then I'm setting up the oxygen only to get an oxygen sensor failure! Again back to the storage for a old unit. Never in my ten years have I had two simultanious equipment failures! Kids o.k., I didn't get much sleep due to the adrenaline rush prior to going home! Some days you just need never crawl out of bed!Last edited by stovens; 01-17-2009 at 04:53 PM.
" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
