Yeah, all them new soaps are dangerous.... I'll stick with lacquer thinner followed by hand cleaner with pumice afterwards!!!! Only thing I've found to help my hands at all in this cold weather crap is a product called udder balm....

As for all the rest of the conditions, I've been battling a variety of conditions for the last 25 years.... Nothing much has helped.

    Yep

Udder balm medicated from Farm & Fleet

And if I found a blocked fuel filter I would never take it off and run the engine without it---the filter did its job and caught the trash and junk, without it the junk will end up in the carb or injectors

I've been battling this dry skin thing for years. My skin Doctor prescribed Triamolone Acetonide Ointment, I use it three times daily - works really good in healing up the cracks and dryness. Then when healed up he has me use "Gloves in a Bottle" during the day and plain old Weinerslicker at night. There a web site:Dry skin care | shielding lotion best dry skin care product | Gloves In A Bottle - seems to work. The Weinerslicker (vasoline), I put on heavy at night and wear white cotton gloves which can be bought at a drug store. Sometimes I just put white socks on my hands - sure works good for the hands BUT sure is tuff on my love life
After hands heal up and look good I forget the treatment of the hand cream and weinerslicker and hands dry out, crack and I have to start all over again.

when my oldest got 3rd. degree burns over most of his leg our pharmacist told us that after he healed to use vitamin e ointment at the dollar store. It replinshed his healed skin and cleared up the dry patches that followed. We use it for winter treatment and it works wonders. also it is reasonably priced.

    Question Butch B

Hi all, new to here and to "posting". If I could ask you guys a quick question?
My name is Butch, Sac area of CA. Always wanted to do a build. I've managed to get an old original 23 Ford w/ bucket, no tail gate, lots of bondo, thin alum. dash and fire wall. Rough to say the least but...question 1... being original and metal is it perferred to glass? question 2.. what would be a good price for it?
Thanks if any reply... Looking at some pics here really makes me want to keep it but time..blah blah..its gotta go.
    Sincerly,
    Butch

Man, I know from whence you are coming - - - I had them in my right eye (upper right quadrant of my head) in 1995 and it was not the most pleasant experience, as you well know. My doctor put me in the Hospital for 5 days with an IV drip of acyclovere (???) and it helped some but resting or sleeping comfortably was out of the question for several weeks. It's an itch you can't scratch and a soreness you can't rub for some reason.

I'm wondering, however, can you take the shingles shot if you've already had them? Seems like someone told me that you couldn't or it didn't do any good - - - can't remember which.

Now that I think about it, I'm wondering if that could have lead to my recent detached Retina problems??? Hmmmm

Good Luck with your recovery and I hope you don't get a relapse which they told me was possible - - - so far I haven't had any problem and I hope you don't either.

    Em

If you had Chicken Pox as a child, you have the Shingles virus in your body.
My doctor asked if I had CP as a kid, I said yeah. She gave me a shot for Shingles. My insurance refused to pay for it, so I paid the Doc $93.00.

Tech, have you had the Shingles yet? I know that you have to have had CP in order to get the Shingles but what I'm wondering is CAN you take the shot after having the Shingles???? Any ideas on that one??? IMHO, it's damned sure worth the $$$$$ if it will keep you from getting it.
