this super straight clean 66 p up was also at the auction but it was not for sale .. someone already absconded with it .. seems to have been original paint or at least a very old build ..

several years ago in fayetteville tenn a fellow bought a treasure chest very much like these at an estate sale .. paid something like 15 bucks for it in a blind bid .. took it home and stuffed it in his garage for a few years .. one day decided to cut off the lock and see what was inside .. found some civil war era clothes .. some news paper clippings of some fellow recieving a matching set of engraved dueling pistols for some gallant deed he had done during the war .. dug a bit deeper and found a small box in perfect condition containing the two pistols .. turns out it was the elderly lady who had passed away grandfather ... he very quickly found a buyer for the pistols .. got 175 thousand $$$ for them .. these chests had already been relieved of anything they mite have held

this one was sold at the auction ..i dont know for how much as i did`nt wait around for fear of buying it myself .. i`ve got 7 vehicles .. i dont need any more ..

the sig that is ... thanks chris ... the engine is`nt clean enuff to eat off but it was my daily driver for over 4 years .. may spray it off to help me sell it ..

six feet high and rising !! .. anyone remember that from johnny cash ? .. once every hundred years we have a super flood that causes this creek to overflow the bridge .. in 1992 that occured .. 12 inches of rain in 23 hours ..this is a new bridge about 6 feet higher than the old bridge was at that time ..hope it dont set in to raining while i`m sitting here having a sudweiser or 2 ..

i was thinking about me all day yesterday as well .. another old friend has died ... the shooting was much farther south of me .. the site post clock is two hours slow .. spring ahead -- not back

if you cant reach me this weekend there is a good reason but wait there`s more .. even if you dont subscribe to hot rod mag you should get may copy ..just fpr the good section on barn finds .. hot rods .. and metal working section .. ive` spent most of today loading up my photobucket with pics i thought i had gotten shed of .. lots more material to post yet
