There is some reason to be skeptical about this. Assuming your chances of not having any valve train or other issues affecting the valve train in 500consecutive builds is 99.9%, the chances of the 501 consecutive build not having an issue is only 60.6%.

I guess numerically it could happen or not depending on the parts etc. But given what I see and hear about this today with materials and oils etc I would be willing to bet the odds are not even this good.

I'm not trying to make a point here, just looking at it numerically .........
