On a couple of boards I am on this would have been locked. I just put some people on my ignore list and that works for me.The cam wear ,and lifter wear has been going on since I built my first eng in 1955. I have never lost a lifter or cam lobe ,with over 500 engs built. This will continue long after I am gone.
