    Yeah it was stamped on the frame under the original leaf spring support; I found it when I cut the old support off.

    Looking very nice! Most people would have hauled this van to the scrap yard. Good work saving it!

    Yes, it is! I tried to stop myself; didn’t work. Thankfully it hasn’t been a ton of money; just time and MIG wire.

    I remember a documentary I saw about Cuba's car restorers. This guy rather casually states that all the grey panels on this car they dragged out of the woods were replacement panels they made using metal from an old Russian water tower. The ENTIRE shell was grey! They had hand - formed an entire car one panel at a time. Amazing.
