Nice work again!
Great work! That was a lot of work put into the side panels but it looks awesome!
Thanks Ryan, I only screwed up one piece. I needed
Material for the blisters anyway! LOL
Excellent work, Rich. Man, you got some cool tools!
Very nice work, and excellent pictures and explanations of the steps that the project took you through. Thanks for taking time to document and post. Very nice.
Moving to the back, I wanted to finish the trunk area. I need to keep the upper
part of the side panels removable for wiring access, and to able to use the
lifting points to remove the body with.
I have stitch welded in the lower half of the side panel in this pic. I also installed
attachment metal around the rest of the trunk opening using 16 gauge for everything.
I installed 1/4" 20 riv nuts to be used with the removable panel.

Cutting the panel with another favorite saw. I piked this up from Enco years ago, has
4 speeds with two of them slow for metal. I use a 1/4" blade that cuts sheet metal
really nice.

Great work! Rivnuts are a sweet little device!
One side done!

Pass side with a little seam seal, and etch prime. All the welded pieces were primed
, and painted before installation. I'm getting close to pulling the body to paint, and plumb the frame. I need to redo the front fender mounts that the light bar bolts
to, also not happy with reveal line at one door that needs some work. All those
little things! LOL
