Now don't do what I did when grinding some welds, I had the workshop up in flames as I hadn't watched to see where the sparks were flying and they caught some on cleaning rags on fire. The silly thing was that I could smell something burning but was so busy grinding and didn't want to stop the fire was really going for it by time I decided I should have a look. Luckily no major damage was done but a lesson learnt. Oh those little suckers ( the sparks ) will damage glass windows as quick as too so always check to see where they go.
On the leading, try tinning the panel where you want to fill first also as that will help the lead stick.
