    Thanks Paul. Is the listing I have for the pistons wrong or am I misreading something?? Im having a ford mechanic/ engine builder do the build for me this coming week- he knows big blocks very well. I guess I'm going to have to mix race gas. Thats ok; not a lot of miles going onto the car. We'll see how it runs soon on the test stand. ----I just re-read a couple of posts to me and I guess I don't totally understand "squish." I would think that w/ my deck height 1975- 10.320, that I'd have less CR than a shorter deck height. I don't believe the machinists here/ around are capable of being that precise in cutting down the deck. I definitely don't want detonation though either.
