I.M.O., a 305 with this cam you are right on the border of using a stock torque converter or using a 2,000 stall.
I have not worked with a car this light weight.
Other t-bucket owners might have a better idea.

I don't have the expeience Eric has but I think he is right on. Make sure your 305 breathes freely everywhere.

I have one size smaller in the Extreme Energy installed in my 305,but its in a heavy truck with 4.11 gears.
You should be fine in that light bucket.
I actually had that cam you list purchased for my truck ,but backed down one size to the EX262 and installed rhoades lifters for more low end torque.
.Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

I'd pay close attention to Erik's comment about the converter. A 2K converter will make the car much easier and more enjoyable to drive and will allow the motor to get up on the cam sooner. No standing on the brake pedal at stoplights.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

I do like Lunati's camshafts just not that cam because it is symetrical.

Specs. are .468/.489 lift,duration at .050 is 219/227,110 L/S.
I think I would try and run a 2,000 stall with this cam.

Engine size/cam duration/total weight.............Taking all that into account,2,000 stall will be no problem at all, possibly more like Pat said, depends on how performance orientated you want it.....Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

Your gonna like the 268 -it sounds bigger than what it is and works. I have had two motors with that cam-one of them had that same lunnati cam until I changed it.www.adoptafriendforlife.org

I went with one a little smaller , the 262 in my 305 and my truck weighs a lttle more than your T at 3,000 lbs. Converter is 2,000. It has a nice choppy idle and I don't have to stand on the brakes at idle.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

well you would not. but like i said it could not be enough stall. he is half your truck s weight the stall should be more in a light car . the more stall less mass to move. the car will be right up on the 2000 stall then your a two footer at i stop light
