I think your gonna want to go with a Galaxie, because of the frame unless, you want a pre '62 Fairlane. The unibody would probably be to light for 500 hp. Also, as Duane said after '72 the Torino went to a frame and a 460 was offered in it, there is suspension parts and mounts to make that 429 fit, and it would probably pretty much bolt in, but you would need the stiffer front suspension for the 460 because of the engine weight diffrence unless the car you got has or had a 460.Originally posted by Todd 429
