Up to 61, yeah they were. But after the introduction of the small Fairlane in 1962, they are totally different. The Fairlane used a unibody construction like on the Falcons. the 66 and later Fairlanes were wider and the same width as the 66 and later falcons. In 1972 ford went to a frame under the Torino's. And some were sold with 460's in them.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
