In order for me to have the best traction with 16" wide tires, I need the track temperature to be pretty warm, like in the area of at least 85 to 100 degrees or better. When the sun goes down, the track cools off quickly, and the traction goes away. That night it was probably in the area of 60 degrees, if that. Street cars running before me had a big impact on traction issues also.Originally posted by Jerilynne1965
Glad you found the prob b4 it became a BIG prob. Just a silly ???? but, what difference does it make for you at the drag weather it's day or nite...an was it slippery because of rain...humidity...or something else...maybe in the daylight the track stays drier because it's hotter??? Just wondering....

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
