That low torque requirement may have something to do with the nuts being aluminum. The ones I got are Moroso #46140, and they tell you to thread the stud into the axle flange. I see MW says to just drill the flange. The nuts are steel, and I sure hope these studs are made from Kryptonite or some other material from outter space. Here's what I bought. I've only got mine finger tight right now. Your application MAY require more torque that that however.

They say 40-45 Lbs. on the lock nuts, 50-60 for studs & 85-90 for the lugs??? Go figure.
