Remember the troubles I had with breaking the axle studs? Well, I replaced them with brand new ones and thought my troubles were over. I made 4 passes on the new studs, while I ordered a set of 5/8" replacements. When I removed the recently replaced 1/2" ones, I found that every one of them were bent. The new BIG studs are in, and I will be installing the axles tonight, in fact, right now. My other choice is to not launch at 4300 RPM anymore. I'm afraid that's not an option though.
Thos' 5/8" studs are a little spendy ey'. M/W were 'bout 100 bux. Cheaper than being rudely introduced to the barrier wall tho HUH. Little harder to get the wheel off N' on.
