The cam that I am using is a Elgin hyd 216/228 dur at 0.50 and 453in 480exh lift . I still am not sure what intake I will run . I do like the Weiand steath . COOL !
Check out this engine . Its just about done . I think that I will try it out in my 1989 short bed Chevy truck . Only thing its 700R trans is on its last leg . I think that I will change the 700R out with a long tail TH350 . I was told its a bolt in . And the trucks just an around town car part hauler . This truck also will get long tube headers and true dual exhaust with turbo mufflers . And at a later date a 342 rear gear . How well do you guys think this set up will work ? To have the 700R trans rebuild its big money . And for how I use the truck . I dont think the 700R will be missed .
