anyone good with math?
Anybody know how to calculate the volume that a piston can draw into the cylinder and what lift/duration of cam would be best in this application ? I am running a .030 SBC that will produce about 11.5-1 compression with the 64cc, 2.02, Vortech heads. I have not chosen a carb yet or headers. I'm looking to make more power in the mid to high range and to get as much RPM as possible. I've taken apart and put back together a few small blocks before but never done a performance build up like this. Any tips or opinions on roller cams would also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Since that center X is there to prevent twist of the main rails I believe it's plenty stout, Navy. If anyone wants to look, show them the second side as your example!!
