One of the magazines did a article on a budget build 350( I think it was chevy hi performance). They put those same Dart heads on a bone stock GM goodwrench 350 engine, made 11-1 compression with the dished pistons, and put a huge cam in it and made 530 horsepower. BUT.... that was a horrible build because the second anybody actually put it in a car with some slicks the crank and rods would be out on the ground. Plus the heads were way too big for a 350. 230's should be used on a 406ci or larger. The engine would be a dyno queen only, so I would say NO those heads won't work. That magazine should have never published that article.
