Unless your are just dying to stroke a 305 and don't care how much it costs, there are much cheaper ways to go about making horse power.

It would seem better judgement to find a cheap 350 and spend the same rebuild money on a 383.
Well, I have a 350 roller cam block for one Camaro. Thinking more like putting a stroked 305 in an S-10 or something. BTW, the 334 stroker kits were available thru Northern for about $400.00. For a little engine, that isn't bad. My only reason for doing it is because (as Erik said) all the parts are laying in the garage.

If I want to build for horsepower then I guess I'll just get a fresh set of heads for my 514 and go back to laying waste to all the sbc's I run across!!!!!
