give me the stroke length and I'll put it into my dyno program. I read a 305 build on the internet that used a lot of common parts and netted 327 Hp, not bad really.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

One thing to remember is the stock 400 crank uses a 2.65 main and the 305/350 uses a 2.45 main.

or u can use a stock 400 crank(3.75) and have the main machined down to fit the 305 block

Yes,even on a 334 the 500 cfm carb. should be good to 6,200.

im not lookin to do the stroke jus yet should i wait an do it at one time cuz i got my intake an my cam an was going to get that put in this weekend or should i jus get it rebuilt........ On another topic was are something i can take off this is a before pic of the engine bay before i add the eddy brock air cleaner an chrome cover what can i take off cuz i want it to look nice an neat under the hood cuz i will be showin this off when i get the stroker done..

My advice is buy the best parts you can afford and build it right the first time.

cuz i drive it now an dont want to put it in the shop jus yet
how many horse do you think i will get from this set up an should i keep the heads stock or port them like i was told
