nice to think that way dave if you have the money thats great. many do not .yes it would be nice if eveyone would buy a USA parts thats not really the case . i get the job by building a engine and the machine work were the guy could not afford to build it with out china parts not all come from china there many rebox that the company is from the USA that machine the raw part from china as the cost is less every one playing this game

Well, if saving a few $$$$ is enough to ease your conscience about buying Chinese parts, good for you!!!!! Personally, I'll wait and save my $$$$ for a bit longer and buy American parts over Chinese parts! I don't really like Japenese or Taiwanese parts either, but at least they are allies and my money isn't going to support a Communist Dictatorship..... But, just my way of trying to spend my money where it at least has a chance of doing something good....

Competition Products also sells some very good crank and rods not made in China, worth looking at! Not a lot more then the Eagle and Scat stuff, but very good quality!!!!!!

Competition Products, that's where I bought my first 502 bbc a decade ago. Came out of a boat, lol. Ran pretty good after loading it up with some aluminum BME rods and some lightweight Pistons for more compression. Ran the stock crank after int bal and my buddy is still running that set up today. Fast forward another decade and I want the longer throw crank so it's a new game to me.

nope there howard track smart3 are some of the better china stuff. comp/howards. Callies makes the howards crank both callies and howards use in some cases a over sea,s forging up to 5.000 stroke cranks
