Well, if saving a few $$$$ is enough to ease your conscience about buying Chinese parts, good for you!!!!! Personally, I'll wait and save my $$$$ for a bit longer and buy American parts over Chinese parts! I don't really like Japenese or Taiwanese parts either, but at least they are allies and my money isn't going to support a Communist Dictatorship..... But, just my way of trying to spend my money where it at least has a chance of doing something good....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Competition Products also sells some very good crank and rods not made in China, worth looking at! Not a lot more then the Eagle and Scat stuff, but very good quality!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Competition Products, that's where I bought my first 502 bbc a decade ago. Came out of a boat, lol. Ran pretty good after loading it up with some aluminum BME rods and some lightweight Pistons for more compression. Ran the stock crank after int bal and my buddy is still running that set up today. Fast forward another decade and I want the longer throw crank so it's a new game to me.Last edited by rat509; 09-29-2013 at 06:33 PM.
